Helping churches communicate for mission, with clarity and creativity

As a former church communications director, I'll look at how your whole church communicates, from your website to social media, and give you a clear, practical plan to reach your community and grow your church family. From £200.

Long before someone walks into your church, they’ve probably looked you up online.

Your website and social media channels are no longer just noticeboards.

They are part of your ministry.

Yet many churches find their online presence is full of information but lacking an invitation to transformation. They tell people what’s on, but not why it matters.

So here’s the question I ask every church I work with:

Do your communications mostly promote events, or do you also have a deliberate plan for mission and discipleship, helping people encounter faith and grow in it?

I know church life from the inside

Hi, I’m Mark Wilks. I spent seven years on staff in churches in the Diocese of Liverpool, leading communications and creative ministry. I know what it’s like to juggle the weekly notices, plan for Sunday, and innovate, all at once.

Before that, I spent over a decade at Apple as a Creative Trainer, helping people get the best out of their iPhone, iPad and Mac. Today I bring both experiences together: a practical understanding of church life, and the creative and strategic skills to help you communicate with clarity.
